Research Focus:  My PhD study is designed in the context of the rising Human-Elephant conflict all around the Elephant ranges every year. Through this study, we intend to check and validate one of the probable reasons for the “coming out of the reserve’ behaviour of these gentle giants, i.e., availability of sufficient fodder. Two inevitable aspects of carrying capacity, the population and the resources, are being explored, within which we are investigating the available browse and grazing biomass.
